About The Hollis Garden Club
The Colonial Garden Club of Hollis was organized in 1966. Our founders created a forum where gardening knowledge and the joys of gardening could be shared in a welcoming social setting. Surrounded by the natural beauty of New Hampshire, the Club is dedicated to helping maintain and enhance the beauty of Hollis.

Town Projects
We contribute to many landscape beautification projects in our community, in local venues such as the Hollis Social Library, the Lawrence Barn, Monument Square, the Lucie Beebe Garden, Hollis Town Hall, the Always Ready Engine House, the Department of Public Works and the Farley Building.
Most recently, we are reviving the landscaping surrounding the Lawrence Barn.
Meetings and Social Gatherings
Our year commences with the President's Tea, held in September. Our regular meetings, open to all, have scheduled speakers and occur on the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 9AM at the Lawrence Barn. There are a few exceptions:
-
At the October meeting, we also discuss budget and committee reports.
-
Rather than a December meeting, we create wreaths to decorate the town.
-
In January we hold a luncheon in lieu of a regular meeting.
-
We do not meet in July and August.
